LOT #3

WHEATON 5-063:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 1-157 (donor sired by True Blood)

Notes:  Lot 3 and 4 are flush brothers, each with a vary high ceiling.  As you can see they are big bodied, huge hipped and good footed.  This pair has been farm favorites for some time and we expect big things from them this summer.  5-063 is incredibly smooth in his muscle pattern and handles with a lot of shape down his top.  Their mother is a top True Blood daughter that had a high dollar ewe lamb at Sedalia in 2014.  This was her first flush and she is going right back in the donor pen.

LOT #4

WHEATON 5-066:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 1-157 (donor sired by True Blood)

Notes:  Lot 3 and 4 are flush brothers, each with a vary high ceiling.  As you can see they are big bodied, huge hipped and good footed.  This pair has been farm favorites for some time and we expect big things from them this summer.  5-066's recipe mother stopped milking as much the last 2+ weeks and he is a bit thinner than his flush brother, but don't let that fool you.  He has all the makings of a good one!  Their mother is a top True Blood daughter that had a high dollar ewe lamb at Sedalia in 2014.  This was her first flush and she is going right back in the donor pen.

LOT #5

WHEATON 5-072:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 2-099 (donor sired by Classic Touch)

Notes:  Here is a stout made, big bodied Centerfold that will feed.  He is incredibly wide based, big topped and square on all corners.  His mom is one of our best Classic Touch daughters that goes back to the Best Buy (ram used successfully by Larry Despain) ewe family and the Champion lamb at the 2011 American Royal.  This lamb is a flush brother to lot 6.

LOT #6

WHEATON 5-076:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 2-099 (donor sired by Classic Touch)

Notes:  This is one of the most intriguing lambs in the sale.  We left him as a ram for a long time and we expected him to stay that way.  After a lot of discussion we decided to cut him to make a killer wether for the show circuit.  He is incredibly square down his top, loaded with shape out of his hip, all while maintaining a great silhouette from the side. This is one to really watch.  His mom is one of our best Classic Touch daughters that goes back to the Best Buy (ram used successfully by Larry Despain) ewe family and the Champion lamb at the 2011 American Royal.  This lamb is a flush brother to lot 5.

LOT #7

WHEATON 5-077:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 9-071 (donor sired by Exile)

Notes:  If you are hunting a state fair wether that will run at the top, look here.  This wether is tall fronted, level topped, square rumped and massive boned.  He is a flush brother to the ram lamb we sold half of the Elliott and he has the makings of a big time wether.  His mother (Wheaton 9-071) has been a long time donor and comes from a very prolific ewe family.  Wheaton 9-071 is out of Exile x Miller 3468, who is the twin sister to Millers famous donor 3469 (Da Vinci x Classic's mom).  9-071 won a market division at the Iowa State Fair in 2009, and had a ram we used called The Situation.  This is also the same ewe family that had the Reserve Champion lamb at the American Royal in 2011.

LOT #8

WHEATON 5-081:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 1-013 (donor sired by Untouchable)

Notes:  This Centerfold wether is great outlined, square topped and shapely.  His full brother won his class at the Ohio State Fair in 2014 and we think this one has a bright future as well.  He also comes from a consistent female line that produces every year.  His mom was Champion Hampshires Ewe at NAILE in 2012 and his grandmother had "The Full Monty" in 2014 (keeper Centerfold son) and her 2015 Centerfold son (Wheaton 5-018) will also be kept.

5-048.jpg

LOT #9

WHEATON 5-082:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 3-020 (sired by Mosey)

Notes:  This is one of the stoutest made wether in the sale.  He is a perfect example of the Big Papi lambs, huge ribbed, big topped and smooth handling.  From the side he has the look to win and we expect him to feed well this summer.  His mom is sired by Mosey on a great Classic daughter.

LOT #10

WHEATON 5-084:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 3-112 (sired by Mosey)

Notes:  This lamb is bred just like lot 9 and is a perfect example of what we get when we cross Big Papi on the Mosey daughters.  Tall fronted, big topped and structurally correct.  This lamb will feed a bit longer than some as he is a bit more compact.  He would be a perfect candidate to run at the summer state fairs in the midwest and hold for a major in the fall.  This one has a lot of potential.

LOT #11

WHEATON 5-086:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 1-013 (donor sired by Untouchable)

Notes:  This lamb is a flush brother to lot 1 and 8.  As you can see he didn't get the milk that his flush brother got, but he has a lot of upside.  For being as thin as he is you can see the muscle shape and time will be his biggest help.  Take this one home and feed.

5-055.jpg

LOT #12

WHEATON 5-087:  WETHER

Sire:  Powercat

Dam:  Wheaton 0-154 (donor sired by True Blood)

Notes:  Lot 12 and 14 are flush brothers and the only 2 Powercat wethers in this sale.  This might be the thickest wether in the sale.  He is big ribbed, grooved topped and square made.  His mother has been in our donor pen for several years and she consistently produces.  Her 2013 ewe lamb might be one of the best to ever see our farm.  This is the same ewe family that produced Best Buy and the Champion Lamb at the 2011 American Royal.

5-057.jpg

LOT #13

WHEATON 5-088:  WETHER

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Wheaton 3-043 (donor sired by True Classic)

Notes:  This is one of the stouter made Centerfold's we have sold.  His mother is our best True Classic daughter and she is out of the ewe that had our Reserve Champion at the American Royal in 2010.

LOT #14

WHEATON 5-091:  WETHER

Sire:  Powercat

Dam:  Wheaton 0-154 (donor sired by True Blood)

Notes:  Lot 14 and 12 are flush brothers and the only 2 Powercat wethers in this sale.  This wether is a unique combination of power and show ring appeal.  His flank sits way down in him, he massive down his top and deep stifled.  He is one of our favorites. His mother has been in our donor pen for several years and she consistently produces.  Her 2013 ewe lamb might be one of the best to ever see our farm.  This is the same ewe family that produced Best Buy and the Champion Lamb at the 2011 American Royal.

5092.jpg

LOT #15

WHEATON 5-092:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 2-112 (sired by Classic Touch)

Notes:  This Big Papi wether will be fun to feed this summer and fall.  His moderate frame will keep him together for the long haul and we expect him to shake things up in the show ring, he has been a favorite since day one.  His mother traces back to the Wheaton 8-075 line that has recently produced the Reserve Champion lamb at the 2015 Fort Worth Stock Show, Champion Hampshire wether at the Michigan Livestock Expo and our keeper Powercat son in 2014 called Pure Power. Big upside in this wether.

LOT #20

GORDENEER/Wheaton 1527:  WETHER

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Mosey x Wheaton 5-074 (donor)

Notes:  When we went over to Gordeneers in early February we saw this little guy for the first time, and you knew he could be special.  He is super stout in his overall make-up, big hipped and structurally correct.  What is even more impressive is when you get over the top of him, he is big backed and smooth.  We love the Big Papi wether and this is one of the best.

5075.jpg

LOT #21

WHEATON 5-075:  Ewe

Sire:  True Classic

Dam:  Wheaton 1-015 (donor sired by True Blood)

Notes:  We haven't sold any ewe lambs this year so we thought we should dig into the set for one out of a great ewe family.  This ewe lamb is very shapely and well balanced.  She is the flush sister to our keeper True Classic ram this year, Wheaton 5-074.  Her mother has been flushed successfully 4 times and her 2014 ram lamb was a hit.  This is one you can show this summer and then put right back into the flock.

5094.jpg

LOT #22

WHEATON 5-094:  Ewe

Sire:  Big Papi

Dam:  Wheaton 2-022 (sired by Untouchable)

Notes:  We had a pair of these Big Papi ewe lambs, we kept one and are offering this one for sale.  She is tall fronted and square made.  Her mom is a full sister the the Champion lamb at the 2011 American Royal.  Her twin sister was sold in Sedalia and brought over $8,000.  This ewe family produces.

1501.jpg

LOT #23

GORDENEER/WHEATON 1501:  EWE - QR/RR

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Mosey x Wheaton 5-074 (donor)

Notes:  Lot 23 and 24 are bred just a like, Centerfold x Mosey out of the great donor Wheaton 5-074.  1501 is long fronted, smooth in her design and level down her top.  Show her this summer and take home to breed.  This one will work.

1525.jpg

LOT #24

gordeneer/WHEATON 1525:  ewe - RR

Sire:  Centerfold

Dam:  Mosey x Wheaton 5-074 (donor)

Notes:  Lot 23 and 24 are bred just a like, Centerfold x Mosey out of the great donor Wheaton 5-074.  1525 is the stoutest made, heaviest muscled sheep of this flush.  She will be a fun ewe lamb to jackpot this summer, you will have to travel some miles to find one this blown apart.
